Hi everyone! The time has finally come, Episode 5 is now available. We had a few hiccups near the end there, but we've worked through it, and are so excited to share this update with you!
A big thank you to those of you who have been patient and supportive of us while waiting for the new Episode. As you know, we are a small indie dev team who spends our spare time creating the game, Andromeda Six, for you to enjoy for free.
Things don't always go the way we plan, but we always do our best, and we thank those of you who acknowledge and understand that 🚀
A reminder on how to download the new update:
Itch.io App
If you play A6 through the itch.io app, which we recommend, the game will be updated automatically. Download: https://itch.io/app
Manual Download
If you are manually downloading the game, you will need to download the Episode 5 files from the itch.io page, and run the game from the Episode 5 folder.
We always recommend doing a full playthrough from the start when you download new files (even if you just skip through), to avoid any potential bugs popping up, since this is an unfinished game. However, that is only recommended and not required.
If you have any issues or notice any bugs/typos etc feel free to send them through to us at support@wanderlust-games.com, or if you're a member of our Discord server, you can post them in our #bugs channel.
UPDATE: Version 5.1 has been uploaded with multiple fixes.

Oh NO.....that cliff hanger. My HEART.
I was excited and I cried many times during the hour I played this one. But why did you have to make me see that TwT I'll save you, Vexx.
This was definitely action and emotion-packed. It gave me episode 3 vibes but times 10 and it was amazing. I will patiently wait for the rest, but also, I'm kind of impatient because well, cliffhanger.
I'm so thrilled to see you pulled through and posted an update, can't wait to play!! Thank you for all your hard work, devs! we love you

Hi theres a bug that happens when im training with Damon and Aya. I understand absolutely nothing about game codes so im not sure about what to do. Heres the screenshot:
Hi, I'm not particularly sure about this, but something similar occurred for me a while ago—so you might want to give it a shot. This might happen if you are running a game based in Ren'Py while you have sandbox mode active. I've emailed itch.io for help, but I haven't gotten any back.
You should turn sandbox mode off; if you have it on. Alternatively, if you want to keep it on for other games, there is also an option to move the game out of the itch.io 'Games' folder. I hope this helps you!

Just click 'Ignore'.

Oh, that was cruel! Devs in episodes 1-2 are like "Ok, here is a game with 6 amazing ROs for you all." 3-4 episodes "Well, ok, there's that secret 7th LI character but tssss. " Episode 5 "HAHA WE LIED!!!"
I mean, I understand that's not a case (well, I hope? pretty please? 😅 ), but I just can't stop laughing. Poor baby Vexx (seriously, though, poor everyone!).
Now that was a cruel cliffhanger :( I hope he's alright, he only just found the prince/princess again after all.
I'd like to think there's nothing Ryona and some extra attention and care from one particular newbie couldn't fix.
Well, ok, it's more like I have to believe for the sake of my gentle psyche, but still...
I'm also thinking, maybe it is a way to somehow redeem Vexx? I mean, yeah, in the process of infiltrating the palace he changed his loyalties, he took liking in the Traveler, Nerissa and her guard (and, probably, had some other friends among the Royal Guard, also). And he had his reasons to work with Zovak, but still he knew from the very beginning what his job is, even before Zovak brainwashed him - to infiltrate the palace, to find the way for Zovak mercs to come and kill the royal family. I mean, yes, the King was a pretty bad man (and a king), but I strongly do believe that violence do not condone more violence. It is absurd. So, yeah, probably that cliffhanger in the end is some type of a... retaliation for Vexx, I guess?
Omg 😅, ironically I remembered getting an email notification like a few weeks ago and have been too busy to check what that was about. Then this morning I was like "hmm🤔, didn't I get an email a few weeks ago?? 😍 Oh! I wonder if the next episode is already out, let's go see!!" and low and behold the episode was added an hour ago! 🤣 So I'm super stoked now to get onto my computer and make sure it updates through the itchio app. Anyways, congrats on this next episode! I know I have yet to play it, but I've loved everything up until now including all the DLC stories. You have all put so much hard work into this game and both the story and art is always sooo beautiful, so thank-you!

i sent in a bug report for that and some other things i noticed. hopefully they can fix it soon.
I have the same problem, the files aren't downloadable and the itch.io app cant find the build files.
